Director
Debra Mudd

Debra Mudd has extensive background in dance. As director, she oversees the development of all Ultimate dance Company students. She has been dancing in the Calgary area for 25 years and has enjoyed teaching for over 10 years. Debra has completed all of her Jazz exams in the Al Gilbert and British Association of Teachers in Dance syllabus. Debra has also completed up to her Advanced Level in the R.A.D syllabus, Dance Educators Syllabus I, II and III, British Association of Teachers in Dance, and the Advanced Level of the Cechetti syllabus in Ballet. Her Studies were furthered with Ballet when she attended the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and has performed in ballets such as Swan Lake, Coppelias, and Degas to name a few. Debra has participated in several competitions throughout Calgary, Lethbridge and Red Deer, and performed in the opening ceremonies for the 1988 Olympics. Her Love and Passion for dance brought her to open up Ultimate Dance Company in 1995. Debra loves to watch her students mature into confident, creative and assertive dancers.


Elisha Sander

Elisha Began dancing at the age of 12, beginning in jazz, tap, ballet, and hip hop. She had a growing passion for hip hop, and since then pursued that passion by partaking in numerous auditions, shows, and classes. She has won numerous awards at various competitions over the years for hip hop duets and groups, and performed in fashion shows, and fundraisers all over Calgary . Elisha was involved in a professional show at the Calgary Stampede in 2007, in the round-up center, and frequently visits Vancouver and L.A to attend numerous classes. Elisha’s new-age style brings an exciting energy to her classes.


Beryl Tsai Poon

Beryl is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) as well as AFLCA and NCCP certified. After graduating from Vancouver's Goh Ballet of Canada she began her career performing such shows like "LA Bayadere," and "KPMG's Centennial celebration" (TV and radio). She has worked for various companies including Maxim magazine, Extreme Sports & Music Series, Benson & Hedges, Bacardi, and Country 105. Her career has taken her throughout Canada, the USA and Asia as a dancer, singer and model.


Melissa Gaylard

Melissa has had the opportunity to perform worldwide with 'The Youth Singers of Calgary', in Australia, New Zealand and the US. She has danced just outside of  Temecula, CA, in a music video for “Big and Rich” as well as performing in Disneyland and California Adventure.  Melissa has experienced great success in both exams and competitions, and holds her RAD Intermediate Certificate for Classical Ballet, as well as full teaching credentials for Tap and Jazz with the ADAPT Syllabus. Melissa is excited to share her love of the art with her new students.
