RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS

PRESCHOOL DANCE (AGES 3-4 YEARS)

Ultimate Dance Company’s Preschool combo class is a 45 minute class that explores the dance styles of Ballet, Tap and Jazz. Your child will receive a quality dance education in a caring and fun environment. Preschoolers will smile with excitement in this class. Must be 3 years of age by September 1st. Preschool Combo classes are full year or 12 week sessions.

AGES 5-7 YEARS CLASSES

Ultimate Dance Company offers Ballet, a Jazz/Tap Combo, Acro and Hip Hop for ages 5-7 years. Ultimate Dance Company’s Ballet program for 5-7 years of age studies the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. The Jazz/Tap combo is a 45 min class that will focus on learning the basics to Jazz and Tap dance through centre floor practice, across the floor dance steps and dance combinations. Acro and Hip Hop for ages 5-7 years are both 45 minute classes that cover the basic fundamental skills to Acro and Hip Hop. Dancers will love learning new steps and movements each week. Must be 5 years of age by September 1st.

AGES 8-10 YEARS CLASSES

Ultimate Dance Company offers Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre for ages 8-10 years. Dancers in these 45 minute classes will focus on the development of technique through centre practice and across the floor exercises. Ultimate Dance Company’s Ballet program for 8-10 years studies the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus. Students in this age group aspiring to study at the competitive level can be assessed by the studio director. Must be 8 years of age by September 1st.

AGES 11+ YEARS CLASSES

Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Acro are all classes offered to this age group. Dancers in these 45 minute classes will focus on the development of technique through centre practice and across the floor exercises. At this level students usually take two to three different disciplines per week. Students in this age group aspiring to study at the competitive level can be assessed by the studio director. Must be 11 years of age by September 1st.

RECREATIONAL PROGRAM POLICIES

All students are required to pay a non-refundable $40.00 + GST registration fee.
September fees and registration fees are due and processed at the time of registration. September fees and registration fees are non-refundable for any reason as these fees hold a spot for your dancer in our classes.
Monthly automatic payments commence October 1st- June 1st for the remainder of the season.
Payment methods are by credit card (Visa, MasterCard). We also accept credit debit cards.
A $30.00 fee will be charged for any payments that cannot be processed.
Monthly tuition fees are averaged over a 10-month term (September - June) and rates are fixed accordingly. We do not prorate months for missed days, holidays or school vacations as these have already been included in our average rate calculation.
Client receipts are available through the registration portal.
Emergency contacts must be provided to the studio prior to September 7th, 2024. It is up to the parents to update any contact information should it change throughout the season. Please notify the office of any changes to personal information. Monthly newsletters are sent out to families at the beginning of each month. It is important that families read and keep up to date with all studio information.
Parents/Guardians of all students will be required to sign the participant agreements and the student waiver for 2024-2025.
All 2024-2025 class schedules are subject to change. Ultimate Dance Company has the right to cancel or combine classes due to insufficient class registration.
One month written notice is required to cancel any recreational program at Ultimate Dance Company. A $50.00 + GST administration fee will be charged to complete your cancellation. No withdrawals will be accepted for recreational students after January 31st of the respective dance season. After this date, dancers are responsible for all payments until June.
Monthly fees are for class instruction only and do not include costumes, recital tickets, choreography fees, exam fees or competition entry fees.
All students participate in our annual year end recital “Showcase of Stars”. Participation is mandatory and additional expenses for costumes and recital tickets are outlined in our recital handbook that is distributed in November of the respective dance season.
Recreational recital costume fees will be processed on February 1st of the respective dance season by the payment method on file. Costume pricing will be issued in November of the respective dance season. Once costumes have been ordered, no refunds will be issued.
Parents must notify the studio if their dancer is going to be absent. Classes and training are progressive so regular attendance is encouraged throughout the season.
Makeup classes are not offered, and NO refunds will be issued for missed classes.
Class Cancellations: If at any time Ultimate Dance Company is required to cancel classes due to bad weather, an email will be sent out. Missed classes due to weather conditions will not be rescheduled.
Teacher Absence and Substitute Teachers: If your child’s instructor is sick or unable to attend class, a knowledgeable and experienced substitute teacher will cover classes.
